Reception Tweets
On Friday we celebrated diversity day. In class Mondeo we discussed the different countries we are all from and shared our different types of clothing.
Look at the patterns we have made in Class Mondeo. (Maths)
Class Mondeo have been practising their fine motor skills in the reception garden. We were using scissors safely to cut the garden bushes.
Today Reception visited our local church. We learned that the church is the place of worship for Christians. We know that the cross is the symbol for Christianity. We explored the parts of the church. (Religious Education)
In Class Mondeo was had fun choosing two numbers and adding the numbers the numbers together. (Maths)
Look at the circus tent we made in the den area in our Reception Garden.
This week Reception were visited by a sports coach. We learned how to use a racket correctly. (PE)
In class Mondeo this week we have been reading Handa,s surprise. We have been talking about the animals which live in the savanna. Look at our paintings of the savanna.
Class Cortina had a sports session. We learnt some tennis skills and had to work with a partner to balance the ball. PE
