Our Allotment

Children love sowing seeds, watering young plants and eating food that they have grown. Through our allotment our pupils engage with nature and the passing seasons which improves their mental and physical health. They learn about soil, nutrition, science and the life cycles of the vegetables they grow. Nursery and Reception have their own gardens and KS1 regularly visit our allotment which is a short walk from the school and Year 2 Gardening club takes place in the Spring and Autumn Terms. Our school cooks prepare the food we harvest for us to share.
